350 sq m home in 35 days

Australia’s first 3D-printed multi-storey house is set to break all expectations for time-to-build, its owner says.

Ahmed Mahil, CEO of Luyten, the Melbourne-based company printing the house, says it will have four bedrooms and five toilets and will be completed within five weeks, compared to the usual 8-11 months for a regular build.

“I’m going to live in it personally,” Mahil told “I’m not just selling it to people, I actually trust the science behind it."
