Hush, my house

The first weeks of Spring often inspire a need to ‘clear out’ – put the winter clothes away, clean windows, remove cobwebs – but if you’re too busy for that, maybe try ‘house hushing’ in the interim.

House hushing is a form of decluttering. It involves moving all non-essential items out of a room for at least 24 hours; after that, you put back only what you really want in your newly clear, calm space.
